Sophie is a mixed media artist who has spent her whole life surrounded by art. She was raised by an artist, was a student of art, spent part of her professional career as an art educator and currently curates the Shainberg Gallery at the Memphis Jewish Community Center. Her work is colorful and whimsical, and she loves texture and experimenting. She loves to create work that has a story. She lives and works in Memphis, TN and her home studio is one of her favorite places in the world. She is the proud mom of two and wife to her supportive husband, Alex.
